“The Black Eyed Peas just performed Boom Boom Pow for the first time anywhere and it was amazing. Check it out on tomorrow’s show!”
Number 00009 is one of the first items the app ever numbered. Five days later the homepage was linking to items around 02790.
Every tweet that reached the top-100 table got a page like this one: the tweet as a headline and a comment thread underneath. On the table itself, the time next to each tweet linked here. Early pages like this lived under 100twt.com/discuss/; within days the same pages were served from their own subdomain, discuss.100twt.com.
The archive kept the page itself, but not the conversation. Disqus loaded comments with a script after the page arrived, and the Internet Archive's crawler saved the page without them. Whether anyone replied to this tweet is not recorded.
